Respawn busy with single player Apex Legends

The developers of Titanfall and Apex Legends from Respawn Entertainment are currently looking for employees to develop a single-player shooter in the universe of these games. To be more precise, the development of a first-person shooter in the Apex universe is announced. The new project is described as a dream sandbox for developers with complete freedom to innovate, made possible by a unique universe. Unfortunately, most likely, this is not Titanfall 3, although this series is the progenitor of the Apex Legends battle royale.

On the Respawn Entertainment job page, references can be found for a Supervisory Systems Engineer and Hard Surface Artist. Insider Jeff Grubb has previously reported that Respawn is busy with a solo AAA shooter, but it's not clear if he was talking about said project in the Apex universe.

I would like to believe that we will meet the titans again in the future, but so far there is no information about those in the mentioned game.
